Weeden Environments sells equipment division to Harkness Equipment

Weeden to focus on its sprinkler technology.

Weeden Environments Inc. and Harkness Equipment have come to an agreement whereby Harkness Equipment will acquire the Poultry Equipment Division of Weeden Environments.

Effective February 18th, Harkness Equipment, with offices in Harriston and Hickson, Ont., will operate their expanded poultry equipment business from their Hickson location.

Going forward, Weeden Environments will concentrate all their assets and efforts towards growing and expanding their distributor base for Weeden Sprinklers Systems throughout North America and their family of Proxy Clean Products across Canada.

owner and president of Weeden Environments.

“Harkness will support all of our former products, making this a seamless transition.”

Jim Harkness, co-founder and co-owner of Harkness Equipment, adds, “We look forward to supporting all of Weeden’s former customers and continuing to provide this first-class line of products to the Ontario poultry market.”
